Following a wedding trip to Germany and the southern States, Mr. and Mrs. Donald
Wayne Schulz will be making their home in Mount Prospect, Illinois. The couple
was married at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 1975 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in
Kaukauna, by Father John Bergstadt.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Evers, Kaukauna, and her
husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Schulz, former Colby residents now living
at Middleton, Wisconsin.
Preceding the ceremony vocal selections given by the bridegroom’s father, Ken
Schulz, were accompanied by Carol Appleton at the organ. During the ceremony
vocalist were Randy Schulz, brother of the bridegroom, and Russ Krueger, a
friend.
For day the bride chose a long white dress of chiffon and lace over taffeta,
which was fashioned with an empire waist, mandarin collar and long lace and
chiffon sleeves. A lace Camelot headpiece secured her long flowing veil, which
ended in a train. She carried a cascade bouquet of white carnations, Pink roses
and ivy.
Matron of honor was Linda Leitzke, Kaukauna, and bridesmaids were LuAnn, Mor,
Appleton, Diann Evers, Kaukauna, Julie Schulz, Middleton and Judy Thompson,
Appleton. The flower girl was Heidi Lynne Schulz, Middleton.
A light blue satin gown with white lace overskirt was born by the matron of
honor. The bridesmaid’s gowns were of white satin with blue lace. Each carried a
cascade bouquet of pastel colored daisies and ivy. The miniature bride was
dressed identical to the bride in a gown sewn by Mrs. Vernon Boss, Curtiss, the
bridegroom’s aunt.
John Boss, Mt. Prospect, was the best man, and serving as groomsmen were Steven
Slaughter, Mt. Prospect, Roger Evers and Lonnie Leitzke, both of Kaukauna, and
Gary Schulz, Middleton. Lance Leitzke, Kaukauna, was the miniature groom.
Ushering the guests to their seats were Rany Schulz, Middleton and Roger Evers,
Kaukauna.
Following eh wedding a reception was held at the American Legion Club and
Appleton.
The bride is employed by Air Wisconsin in Chicago, and her husband by Profit by
Air, Chicago.
