Miss Selma Schwartz will retire this year after serving 44 years in the
education field. During this time Miss Schwartz only missed two and one half
days of school because of sickness. She has taught at Abbotsford Elementary the
past 13 years.
Honored Thursday by the Abbotsford Education Association, Miss Schwartz was
presented a silver tray by fellow teachers and a plaque by the Abbotsford PTA.
Lawrence Stettler, pinned a corsage on Miss Schwartz, a gift from Mr. and Mrs.
Harold Mills.
