Burt Schauer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Schauer, Rt. 1, Abbotsford, has been
given the Distinctive Leadership Award by the Army ROTC unit, of which he is a
member at the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point.
He also received the Department of Army Superior Cadet Decoration Award on the
basis of outstanding academic achievement.
Schauer recently completed his sophomore years at UW-SP, where he is studying
wildlife management and biology.
