Brubacher, Harold E. “Harry” (26 November 1963 – 6 December 2022)
Harold “Harry” E. Brubacher, age 64, of Abbotsford, passed away on Tuesday,
December 6, 2022.
Harry was born on November 26, 1963, the son of Sidney and Margaretha (Miller)
Brubacher. He graduated from Edgar High School in 1977. Harry drove truck for
Roehl and County Materials for many years.
On November 27, 2002, Harry was united in marriage to Helen Sterzinger. She
preceded him in death on December 6, 2017. Together they enjoyed ballroom
dancing and traveling, especially to New Orleans and Cancun. He also enjoyed
cooking, especially barbecue chicken wings and cheesecake. Most importantly,
Harry loved and cherished being with his family.
Harry is survived by his seven children: Melissa Weber of Colby, Thomas (Kathy)
Walley of Abbotsford, Timothy (Michelle) Walley of Abbotsford, Stephen (Misty)
Roberts of Stanley, Kris (Jody) Poehnelt of Wittenberg, Tina (Jason) Prindle of
Greenwood, and Amy Harwick (Dan Mitchell) of Eau Claire; numerous grandchildren
and several great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his father, Sidney
Brubacher, Sr formerly of Edgar now of Eureka, MO; five siblings: Agnes
(Charles) Cross of Middlebury, IN, Sidney (Jennifer) Brubacher, Jr. of Wausau,
Jonathon (Joann) Brubacher of Wausau, Carolyn (James) Brown of Eureka, MO and
Rosetta Ford (Mark Schulz) of Merrill; nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaretha and his sister, Marilyn
Brubacher.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday,
December 10, 2022, at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford followed
by a Graveside Service at 11:15 at the Abbotsford Public Cemetery. A Celebration
of Life will continue after the committal service at the funeral home.
