O’Neill, Thomas F. (26 November 1963 – 3 December 2022) With Flag

Thomas F. O’Neill, age 59, of Colby, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at the Marshfield Medical Center.

Thomas was born on November 26, 1963, the son of Patrick and Carol Lee (Hodgson) O’Neill, in Corinth, New York. He graduated from Corinth High School in 1982, and served our nation in the US Navy as a gunner’s mate. Like his Irish father, he was a gifted craftsman and worked as an electrician, woodworker, and mechanic.

Thomas is survived by six siblings: Carol Lee Kinsler (husband, Robert G. Reed, Jr.), Patricia Anne Scheller (Karl), Maureen Frances Hopkins (John), C. Erin O’Neill-Armandarez (Domingo), Sean O’Neill, and Eileen Cummings (Edward). He touched the lives of some nephews and nieces over the years, who remember him fondly and can attest to the strong Christian faith upon which he centered his life. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be on Monday, December 12, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. at Marathon Mennonite Church in the Town of Frankfort (223876 County Road E, Stratford). Pallbearers will be Leonard Martin, Glen Earl Oberholtzer, Carl Brubacker, Gerald Martin, Matthew Weaver, and Linford Brubacker. Officiating will be Jerry Brubaker, Leroy Martin, Steven Hoover, Kevin Martin and Paul Wesley Oberholtzer. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 11, 2022, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Larry Brubacker’s residence (226120 Pecan Road, Colby).
