Linda J. Kopecky, daughter of Mrs. Anne Witte, Riplinger, received a Bachelor of
Arts degree from Northland College, Ashland, on Jun 1, 1975. Miss Kopecky ranked
third academically in her class was graduated magna cum laude.
She also received divisional honors in social science for her research and
completed a theses on the Civil War. She was the first person since 1969 to
receive such an honor.
Miss Kopecky will be studying in the fall for her Master’s degree in history at
Marquette University, where she has received a full tuition scholarship and
research assistantship.
