Olson, Evelyn (20 November 1923 – 4 July 2016)

Evelyn Olson, age 92, died Monday, July 4, 2016, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Osseo, Wisconsin.

Evelyn was born November 20, 1923, to Earl and Carol (Shaw) Johnson in Black River Falls.

She married Dale Olson on September 23, 1943. Evelyn worked as a cook at Osseo hospital and Nursing home. She enjoyed all kinds of crafts, cooking, especially baking and crocheting, and playing cards with friends. Evelyn, with her husband and family, lived in the Osseo area for over 30 years.

She is survived by her husband, Dale, four sons; Larry (Inez), Ronald (Sandy) both of Osseo, James (Gail) of Eau Claire, and Scott (Terri) of Hixton, one daughter, Kathi (Bob) of Boyceville, five grandsons, six granddaughters, and many great-grandchildren, also by cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 11, 2016, at Osseo Evangelical Lutheran Church with Reverend Tom Brian officiating. Burial will occur at Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the church on Monday.
