Jill Ann Bremer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Bremer, 604 Butternut Street,
Abbotsford, will attend the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay and Bellin
Memorial School of Nursing, with financial help from an Aid Association for
Lutherans (AAL) Competitive Nursing Scholarship. She is one of more than 180
graduating high school seniors to attend the college or university of their
choice this autumn under this AAL assistance program.
Miss Bremer, a 1975 graduate of Abbotsford High School, was a member of the
National Honor Society, received the Elks award for outstanding senior in
English; the Frederic Chopin piano award, and also recognition as a Wisconsin
Honor Scholar. She is a former AFS student, having spent last summer in Germany.
A member of Christ Lutheran Church, she has been active as a Sunday School and
Bible School teacher, and is currently the church organist.
