Each year two $150 scholarships are awarded by the Clark County Extension
Homemaker’s and the 4-H Leaders Federation. Recipients for 1975 are Gwen Ruth
Gearing, Humbird, and Dale A. Mueller, Colby.
The Extension Homemakers’ scholarship was given to Gwen Ruth Gearing, daughter
of Mrs. Alyce Gearing, Humbird. She attended the University of Wisconsin, Eau
Claire this years and will continue there in the fall, majoring in special
education.
Dale Mueller, recipient of the 4-H and Extension Homemakers scholarship is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Mueller, Colby. Dale will be a junior this fall at
the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, where he too is majoring in special
education.
Alternates for the two scholarships are Sandra Beyerl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Aloysius Beyerl, Route 1, Colby, and Terry Laube, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard
Laube, Route 1, Owen.
