Rohland, Laurie A. (25 August 1955 – 8 December 2022)
Laurie A. Rohland, age 67, of Withee, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022.
Laurie was born on August 25, 1955, the daughter of Norman and Emma (Anderson)
Jorgensen in Stanley. She graduated from Barron High School. Laurie was united
in marriage to Richard Erickson. He preceded her in death in 1979. She was
united in marriage on May 31, 1980, to Douglas Rohland in Neillsville. He
preceded her in death on March 8, 2017.
Laurie worked as a CNA at Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center and
Phillips Plastics in Medford. Her true passion was her art which included crafts
and painting. She also enjoyed shooting pool, playing bean bags and watching
movies. Laurie was a lover of nature, especially butterflies and feeding the
wildlife. Most importantly, she loved and cherished her family.
Laurie is survived by her six children: Tyrel Erickson of Chippewa Falls, Misty
(Shawn) Susa of Green Bay, Alicia (Chad) Martin of Madison, Jeremy Rohland of
Medford, Amanda (Eric) Rodriguez of Spencer and Joshua Rohland (Amy Gagnon) of
Kewaunee; eight grandchildren: Sierra, Jacob, Kyler, Mason, Kayleigh, Olivia,
Zachary and Zaley. She is further survived by six siblings: Joey Jorgensen, Stan
(Pat) Jorgensen, Mike (Tish) Jorgensen, Leif Jorgensen, Wendy Gleason and Dan
(Barb) Jorgensen; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands, Richard and Douglas.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at
the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen. Rev. Ken Schmidt will officiate.
Interment is to follow at Riverside Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome
from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 14 and from 10:00 a.m. until
time of service Thursday all at the funeral home.
