Sister Theodine, formerly of Dorchester, has been the recipient of several
distinguished awards for her leadership in high education.
Sister M. Theodine Sebold is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wolfgang
Sebold and is the sister of Herman and Louis Sebold and Helen Kramer, all of
Dorchester.
She received her elementary education at St. Louis School in Dorchester. She
entered St. Rose Convent in July 1917, and pronounce her vows as a member of the
Franciscan Sister of Perpetual Adoration on June 28, 1921.
Sister Theodine’s most recent award took place at the commencement exercises of
Viterbo College, La Cross, May 18, 1975, when she was named Professor Emeritus.
She retired this spring at the age of 71.
