Mrs. Joseph Bastian has been appointed by the Clark County Red Cross Chapter, to
be executive secretary of the organization.
As executive secretary, she will administrate and coordinate day to day
activities of the Red Cross, such as Disaster Assistance, Aid to Military
families, Water Safety, Nursing programs and various other programs.
A special meeting will be called in the enar future for Committee members,
volunteers and newly interested persons to set up the new programs and to update
those in existence.
Mrs. Bastian has been a resident of Willard for three years and her husband is
engaged in farming. They are parents of four daughters, Gabrielle, 9, Jeanie
Joe, 8, Justine, 5, and Krissi Joe, 3.
At the present time Mrs. Bastian is Fuel Energy Coordinator for Clark County and
is active in the Greenwood PTO, having organized it two years ago, and is
serving her second term as president of the Merry Homemakers in Willard. Her
cooking column, “At home on the Range with Jeanie,” appears periodically in the
Tribune Record Gleaner.
