Hafeman, Calvin (22 Jul 1925 – 18 Jul 1975)
Calvin Hafeman, 49, Abbotsford, was crushed to death July 18, 1975 when he got
caught beneath the wheels of a Soo Line Switching engine at a street crossing in
Abbotsford.
Services were held July 21 at the Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby, with the Rev.
Robin Fink officiating. Burial followed in the Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield.
Mr. Hafeman was born July 22, 1925, and received his education in Colby. He
lived and worked in the Colby area all his life, and was currently employed at
the Wisco Milling Company in Abbotsford. He never married.
Survivors include a brother, Lyle, Adams, and four sisters, Mrs. Earl (Milda)
Murton and Mrs. Myra Couve, both of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Harold (Gladys)
Hutchinson and Mrs. Joe (Aloha) Subitch, both of Green Bay.
Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
