Glenzer, Harold W. (24 Jan 1902 – 1 Aug 1975)
Harold W. Glenzer, 73, Colby, died August 1, 1975 in Marshfield.
Services were held Monday at the First United Church of Christ, Colby. The Rev.
Kenneth Dix officiated, and burial was held at the Colby Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Glenzer was born January 24, 1902 in the Town of Green Grove, Clark County.
He married the former Pauline Schneider on October 5, 1937 in Colby.
He was a cheese maker in the Colby area for many years, a tavern owner for 10
years and an employee of Streckert Manufacturing Company, Abbotsford. He retired
in 1972.
Survivors, besides his widow, include a step-son, Clifford Empey, Sturgeon Bay,
a brother, Hubert, Town of Green Grove, a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Heyer, Wausau,
and one grandchild.
