Will, Lynette Marie (26 Jul 1975)

Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Marshfield, was the setting for the Saturday, July 26, 1975 wedding of Lynette Marie Will and Alan James Rasmussen. The Rev. Walter Dillenburg performed the 2 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Will, Route 2, Colby, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald E. Rasmussen, Route 1, Marshfield.

The organist was Julie Drach and the vocalist was Mrs. Donald Hansen.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride chose an A=line sytled gown of satin fashioned with an empire bodice trimmed in lace. The trimming also accented the skirt. Her veil, a lace mantilla, was held by a Juliet cap, and she carried a colonial bouquet of white roses, stephanotis and baby’s breath.

Rona Will, Route 2, Colby, attended as maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Mrs. Terry Zrutskie, Wausau and Judith Jost, Unity.

The bride’s attendants wore halter dresses of green, blue and melon, with matching flowered capes. They carried nosegays of field flowers matching the dresses.

Verlyn Rasmussen, Route 1, Marshfield, was the best man. Groomsmen were: Ronald Rasmussen, Marshfield and Russel Bedroske, Dorchester.

Robert Will, Colby and Russell Rasmussen, Marshfield, seated the guests.

Following the wedding, a dinner for members of the immediate families was held, with a reception and dance later at the Spencer Municipal Hall.

After a wedding trip to California, the newlyweds are living at 411-! North Central Avenue, Marshfield.

The bride is a graduate of Colby High School and has completed one year at the University of Wisconsin, Marshfield Wood County Campus. The bridegroom graduated from Marshfield Senior High School in 1972 and is an evaporator operator at the Clover Dream Dairy.
