Wiedenhoeft, Arthur (26 Sep 1907 – 14 Aug 1975)
Arthur Wiedenhoeft, 67, Colby, died unexpectedly August 14, 1975 while on a
fishing trip to Canada.
Services were held Monday at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby, with the Rev. Robin
Fink officiating. Burial was held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Colby.
Mr. Wiedenhoeft was born September 26, 1907 in Abbotsford, the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Albert Wiedenhoeft. He was married September 30, 1931, in Colby, to Stella
Vandehey, who survives.
He worked at the Colby Ford Garage for many years before his retirement in 1973.
Since then, he has been employed at the Colby Gamble Store.
He was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church and a member of the Colby
Volunteer Fire Department for 30 years.
Surviving, besides his widow and mother, is a sister, Mrs. Willard Zulke,
Schofield.
