Kniess, Frieda M. (1 Nov 1890 – 20 Aug 1975)
Mrs. Frieda M. Kniess, 84, Abbotsford, died in Colby on August 20, 1875.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Christ Lutheran Church, Abbotsford, with
the Rev. Kenneth Loehrke officiating.
Linda Schultz, soloist, was accompanied by Jill Bremer, organist.
Pallbearers were Howard Frane, Charles Frane, Ronald Frane, Harold Kniess,
Kenneth Kniess and Daniel Kuntz.
Burial was held in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau.
The former Frieda Zillman was born November 1, 1890 in Wausau.
She married Charles Kniess in Wausau, August 6, 1910 and lived in Wausau prior
to moving to Abbotsford 13 years ago.
Mrs. Kniess was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one daughter.
She is survived by one son, Myron, Cyrene, Missouri and one daughter, Mrs. Otto
(Florence) Kalepp, Greenwood; 21 grandchildren and 54 great-grandchildren.
