Greenwood H. S. Class of 1952 (30 Yr. Reunion – 3 June 1982)

Members of the graduating Class of 1952 of Greenwood High School held their 30-year reunion Saturday evening, June 3, with an 8:00 p.m. banquet served by the Legion Auxiliary at the Greenwood Legion Hall.

Donald Lesar of Milwaukee was the master of ceremonies. The Rev. Harold Verhulst, Milbank, S.D., gave the table prayers and also for the moment of silence in memory of two deceased members—Albert Abel and William Vollrath.

Special guests were members of the class who were unable to finish with the class here. They are Kenneth Dusso, Berlin; Raymond Klune, Cincinnati; Carol (Wetzel) Hein, Columbus; Devere Wuethrich of Greenwood. Also present was a former teacher, Mrs. Robert (Mary) Carl, Greenwood. Letters were read from former teachers Frederick Panzenhagen of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Paul Thompson of Stoughton. Donna Abel furnished music for the dancing after the meal.

Another reunion is planned for 1987, to be coordinated by Arlene Krultz.
