Jeffrey Pinter, a freshman at the University of Wisconsin, River Falls, has been
awarded the Wisconsin Rural Rehabilitation Corporation Scholarship for the
1975-76 academic year, according to Dr. J. C. Dollahon, Dean of the College of
Agriculture.
Pinter has selected agricultural education as a major area of study.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Pinter of Route 1, Abbotsford, is a 1975
graduate of Abbotsford Senior High School. He was selected to receive the
scholarship by the College of Agriculture scholarship committee.
The WRRC Scholarship, which pay the student’s total tuition, is presented each
year by the Wisconsin Rural Rehabilitation Corporation, Inc., an organization
which works in conjunction with the Farmers Home Administration. The award is
made to a freshman if the College of Agriculture, who is from a family engaged
in production agriculture in Wisconsin.
