Firnstahl, Lona B. (26 Jan 1893 – 17 Sep 1975)

Lona B. Firnstahl, age 82, Colby, died in Marshfield September 17, 1975.

Funeral services were held Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Francis Rushman officiated. Burial was held at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

She was born in the Town of Hull, Marathon County, January 26, 1893 and received her education in in the Colby school system. She was a graduate of the Chicago School of Nursing. She was a nurse at Memorial Hospital in Wausau over 30 years and lived in Colby since retiring.

She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, Senior Citizens and St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

She is survived by one brother, Isadore Firnstahl, Colby.
