Thorne, David J. (19 December 1985 – 26 December 2022)
David J. Thorne, age 37, formerly of Owen, died unexpectedly on Monday, December
26, 2022
David was born on December 19, 1985, the son of Arlyn Thorne and Wendy Roberts
in Neillsville. He graduated from Owen-Withee High School in 2004. David worked
as pipefitter/welder for American Process Solutions in Weston. In his spare
time, he enjoyed fishing.
David is survived by his parents: Arlyn (Holly) Thorne of Owen; two brothers:
Allen Thorne of Spencer and Kristopher Reineking of Owen; one niece and three
nephews: Savannah and Mason Thorne and Trenton and Miles Reineking. He is
further survived by Arlyn’s family: Aaron (Kay) Thorne and family, Jerry (Diane)
Thorne and family; Holly’s family: Joan Amacher, Dawn (Melvin) Mueller and
family and Mark (Kim) Amacher and family; Wendy’s family: maternal grandparents,
Bert and Joyce Roberts; Paige (Rick) Ludwig, Faith (Pat) Zink and Molly (Troy)
Yates; other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Wendy and paternal grandparents: Donald
and Harriet Thorne.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2022, at
the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen. Rev. Nancy Amacher will officiate.
Family and friends are welcome from 12:00 p.m. until time of the service at the
funeral home.
