Arlet Hennessey, the former Arlet Radeztsky, daughter of Mrs. Germaine Radeztsky
Pecher and the late Emil Radeztsky of Abbotsford, recently received an
Outstanding Performance Award from the Navel Electronics Systems Command,
Washington, D.C. This was the second Outstanding Performance Award se has earned
in the past two years.
Mrs. Hennessey, a 1946 graduate of Abbotsford High School, is a secretary in the
Command’s Undersea Surveillance Project Office. The Naval Electronic Systems
Command manages naval electronic programs and projects to assure that the
operating forces of the Navy get the electronic equipment needed to do their
complex jobs.
Employed by the U.S. Government since 1971, Arlet and her husband live in Falls
Church, Virginia. They have two children, David, 23, a graduate of the College
of William and Mary, who is now with the Navy, and Bonnie, 20, a junior at
Madison College.
