The United Methodist Church, Medford, was the scene of the marriage of Margaret
Louise Bellendorf, Abbotsford and Mark J. Pierce, Stetsonville, September 27,
1975.
The Rev. Raymond Gurney officiated at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. William R. Bellendorf, Abbotsford, and the
groom is the son of Mrs. Lawrence Pierce and the late Mr. Pierce, Stetsonville.
The bride’s gown was of white chiffon, trimmed with white embroidered flowers,
with double-layered cap sleeves, empire waist and featured a V-neckline. She
carried a bouquet of blue roses, carnations and shades of blue forget-me-nots
flocked with baby’s breath.
Devona Marcott, Spencer, friend of the bride, was amid of honor. Bridesmaids
were Susan Pierce, Stetsonville, sister of the groom, and Roxanne Amacher,
Abbotsford, friend of the bride.
Best man was Mike Albers, Medford. Groomsmen were Jon Bauer, Medford, and Dough
Lueth, Curtiss.
Ushers were Richard Bellendorf, Tom Mertens and Rodney Dahl.
Ring bearer was Billy Bellendorf, and Cathy Bellendorf was flower girl.
A reception and dinner for 100 guests was held at the church hall following the
ceremony, with a wedding dance at the Abbotsford City Hall.
The bride is a 1975 graduate of Abbotsford High School and is employed as a
section clerk at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. Pierce graduated from
Medford High School in 1970 and is a mechanic at Mertens Garage in Medford.
