Judy Haas and Denis P. Blazel were married October 25, 1975 at St. Mary’s
Catholic Church, Colby. Father Francis Rushman performed the 1:30 p.m. ceremony.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Haas, Sr., Route 1, Unity, and Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Blazel,
Sr., Route 1, Dorchester, are the parents of the couple.
The bride wore a white empire styled gown of sheer organza taffeta, trimmed in
Venice lace and featuring a high neck and full Bishop sleeves. Her sheer
illusion veil was trimmed with matching lace to give the total look. She carried
a cascade of yellow and orange roses.
Maid of honor was Karen Haas, Unity, sister of the bride, and Mrs. Warren Block,
Stetsonville, was bridesmaid.
Their paprika orange gowns were trimmed with Chantilly lace on the bodice and
cuffs. They wore matching picture hats and carried bouquets of of orange and
yellow fall flowers.
Attending the bridegroom were Warren Block, Stetsonville, a friend, and Leonard
Haas, Unity, brother of the bride, was groomsman.
Ushers were Gary Wussow and Ronnie Haas.
Supper was served at St. Mary’s School, with a dance following at the Sword,
Colby.
The bride graduated in 1972 from Colby High School, and works at Goodyear in Sun
Prairie.
The bridegroom also graduated from Colby High School and is employed as a
welder.
After a wedding trip to Florida, the couple will live in Sun Prairie.
