Wendy Awe, a University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire senior from Colby, has been chosen for listing in the prestigious publication “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.”

Miss Awe is majoring in journalism. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Royal Awe of Colby.

According to Dr. Ormsby L. Harry, Assistant Chancellor for student affairs at UW-Eau Claire, the 38 students chosen for listing in “Who’s Who Among Students,” are selected by vote of department chairmen, deans, and student government members on the basis of academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extra-curricular activities, and future potential. They join an elite group of students who represent the country’s most outstanding campus leaders.
