Ralph, Margaret L. (12 April 1923 – 17 July 1982)

Neillsville native Margaret L. Ralph, 59, passed away in her Fall Creek home on Saturday afternoon, July 17.

The deceased was born on April 12, 1923, in Neillsville to Leo and Louise (Schrank) Korth. After her education, she lived and worked in Minnesota for several years. In 1951, she moved to Beloit and that same year she married Eric Olson, who passed away in 1965. In 1975, she moved back to Neillsville where she took care of her parents. In 1977, she married Homer Ralph, Sr.; the couple made their home for three years in Neillsville and then moved to Fall Creek where she lived the rest of her life. Her second husband passed away in 1981. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church of Eau Claire.

Surviving her are three sons, Howard Olson of Neillsville, Harlo Olson of St. Louis, Missouri, and Dennis Olson of Beloit; a daughter, Mrs. Larry (Karen) Sternitzky, Fall Creek; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Korth, Neillsville; a sister, Mrs. Raymond (Gretchen) Barth, Whitewater; and ten grandchildren. She is also survived by four stepsons, Homer Ralph, Jr. of Lancaster, David Ralph pf Stoughton and T.J. Ralph of San Antonio, Texas; ten step-grandchildren; and two step-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon, July 20, from the Gesche Funeral Home with the Rev. Herbert Prohl of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church of Eau Claire officiating. Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
