Kowalk, Ernest H. (8 Dec 1893 – 22 Nov 1975)

Services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby, for Ernest H. Kowalk, 81, of Colby. He died Saturday in Colby.

The Rev. Robin O. Fink officiated and burial was held in the Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.

Pallbearers were Clarence Farning, Jerome Kasper, Elroy Gutenberger, Darrel Erdman, Gib Erdman and Harold Kasper.

Mr. Kowalk was born December 8, 1893 in Athens. He married the former Lena Erdman on October 19, 1946 in Colby. He farmed in the Town of Unity.

He is survived by his widow; a brother, George, Colby; a half-brother, Otto, Owen; and two half-sisters, Mrs. William (Lena) Sachse and Mrs. Clara Eder, both of Colby.
