Beecher, Bonnie (28 Nov 1975)
Bonnie Beecher, Abbotsford, daughter of Ruth Melvin and the late Francis Melvin,
became the bride of Alfred Weideman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Weideman,
Abbotsford, on Friday, November 28, 1975.
The 7:30 p.m. ceremony was performed by the Rev. Kenneth Loehrke at Christ
Lutheran Church in Abbotsford.
Mernajean Strathman was organist and John Weber was guitarist and soloist.
The bride wore a floor length gown of ivory chiffon over taffeta and carried a
cascade of white and pink roses.
Mrs. Allen Bergum, Glasgow AFB, Montana, was the bride’s attendant. Her floor
length skirt was of burgundy velvet, featuring a pink blouse. She carried a
cascade of pink and white roses.
Attending the bridegroom was his brother, Roger Weideman, Abbotsford.
Donald Weideman, Convoy, Ohio, brother of the bridegroom, and Robert Tomesh,
Madison, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, were ushers.
A dinner followed the ceremony at the Holiday Inn, Marshfield.
The bride is a supervisor of the blood bank at Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin
Rapids, and the bridegroom is engaged in farming.
The couple will make their home in rural Colby.
