Querin, Martha Melinda (10 July 1982)
Martha Melinda Querin and Steven Michael Schultz were united in marriage on
Saturday afternoon, July 10, at the home of the bride’s parents in Cottage
Grove. The Rev. James Schultz officiated. Parents of the couple are Thomas and
Mary Lou Querin, Rt. 1 Greenwood, and Ronald and Joanne Schultz of Cottage
Grove.
The bride and groom wrote their own wedding vows, and the ceremony was in a
garden setting. The bride chose to have a bestman, her friend Scott Harbenson of
Mundelein, Illinois. The groom’s bestman was Frank Liedtke of Arlington Heights,
Illinois.
The bride chose a maroon, sheeted dress and carried a bouquet of daisies and
baby’s breath.
Following the service, a reception was held on the Schultz farm.
The new Mrs. Schultz is a 1974 graduate of Greenwood High School and attended
UW-Platteville. She is an assistant manager at Noah’s Ark Pet Center in Madison.
Her husband is a 1973 graduate of Elmhurst College with a major in geography. He
