Peissig, Debra Ann “Deb” (20 April 1965 – 3 January 2023)

Debra “Deb” Ann Peissig, age 57, of Medford, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, under the tender care of Hope Hospice.

Deb was born on April 20, 1965, the daughter of James and Mary Ann (Pabich) Hollman in Medford. She graduated from Abbotsford High School in 1983. On March 31, 2018, Deb was united in marriage to Barry Peissig.

Deb owned Bogey’s Bar in Medford for 23 years. She also was a huge animal lover and had a passion for helping find lost animals. Deb was a member of the Critter Cruise and was a Found Dog Case Worker. She helped raise money for animal shelters and humane societies. Deb will be sadly missed her family and friends.

Deb is survived by her husband, Barry; her son, Tyler Oleson (Natasha Wright) of Wausau; three stepchildren: David Peissig (Alexis) of Medford, Dakota Peissig (Michael) of Medford and Dustin (Sheree) Peissig of Edgar; four grandchildren: Zarianna, Zeagan, Azyven and Junior. She is further survived by cousins, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Mary Ann; her daughter, Shawna Oleson and two brothers, Mitchell and Craig Hollman.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford. Rev. Nancy Amacher will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
