Thompson, Lloyd T. (16 Apr 1909 – 18 Dec 1975)

Lloyd Thomas Thompson, age 66, of Mesa Arizona, died of an apparent heart attack at his home on December 18, 1975.

Services were held Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church, Abbotsford.

The Rev. Robert Swalve officiated, with burial held in the Dorchester Memorial Cemetery, Dorchester.

Mr. Thompson was born April 16, 1909 in Abbotsford. He never married. He attended Abbotsford High School, Central State College of Stevens Point, and the University of Northern Colorado.

Mr. Thompson taught school at the Edison School near Wausau, Pichard School in Dorchester, and the Butternut School system. He served in the Air Corp during World War II. He then moved to Greeley, Colorado, where he worked for State Farm Insurance Company.

He was a member of the Abbotsford Masonic Lodge, and the Hansen-Terrio American legion Post No. 139 in Abbotsford.

He is survived by two brothers, O. R. Thompson, Portage, and John Thompson of Camarillo, California.

One brother and one sister preceded him in death.
