Haack, Grace E. (29 Mar 1883 – Dec 1975)
Services were held Tuesday for Mrs. Grace Evelyn Haack, age 92, of Abbotsford,
at the Kraut-Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford.
Pastor Larry Grahn officiated at the 1 p.m. services, with burial in the
Dorchester Memorial Cemetery, Dorchester.
Mrs. Haack was born March 29, 1883 in the Town of Little Black. She married
Daniel Lewis on May 1, 1905 in Oshkosh. He died in 1911,
After her marriage she did practical nursing, and during the 1930’s operated a
store and cheese factor in Chelsea.
Mrs. Haack married Ferdinand Haack on November 11, 1925. He died in 1972.
They farmed in the Town of Holton until 1944, when they moved to Abbotsford.
Mrs. Haack was a member of the Withee Seventh Day Adventist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Howard (Vivian) Kramer, Abbotsford and
Irene Mueller, Algoma; three sons, Warren Lewis, Owen, Sumner Lewis, Milwaukee,
and Ernest Haack, Algoma; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
