Kuehn, Heidi Jane (10 July 1982)
The Rev. Charles Sanford officiated at the Saturday afternoon, July 10, wedding
for Heidi Jane Kuehn, and Thomas Andrew Spiegel. The service was held at the
Granton United Methodist Church. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Russell
Kuehn, Granton . The groom’s parents are the late Alfred Spiegel and Mrs.
“Gabby” Schultz, Rt. 2 Neillsville.
Serving as maid of honor was Kelly Kuehn, a sister of the bride. She was joined
by Robin Kuehn, and Sarah Kuehn, both sisters-in-law of the bride. All are from
Granton. Bestman was Jim Spiegel, the groom’s brother of Neillsville. He was
joined by Rick Fitzmaurice, a friend from Neillsville, and David Kuehn, the
bride’s brother of Granton. Ushering were Roger Kosmosky, a friend of
Neillsville, and Brad Kuehn, the bride’s brother of Granton. Serving as flower
girl was Jessica Kuehn, the bride’s sister of Granton.
Special music at the service was offered by Charlotte Drescher, Mark Lavey and
Mike Bletsoe.
The bride chose a gown of sheer organza and Chantilly lace, trimmed with seed
pearls and crystal pleating and featuring a Queen Anne’s neckline, bishop
sleeves and sunburst pleated skirt with ruffled hemline that swept into a
chapel-length train. She carried a bouquet of red roses, white carnations and
baby’s breath. Her attendants wore Tinesta kinit gowns trimmed with Venician
lace in an A-line style with draped cape neckline and the colors of yellow, blue
and lavender. Each bridesmaid carried a bouquet of colored roses to match her
dress and white roses. The groom and his attendants were attired in cream-hued
and brown-trimmed, tailed tuxedos.
Following the service, a reception and dance was held at the Southern Clark
County Sportsmen’s Club in Granton. The couple then left on a tour by motorcycle
of the Dakotas.
Prenuptial events included a shower hosted by Kelly, Robin and Sarah Kuehn.
The new Mrs. Spiegel is a 1980 graduate of Granton High School and in 1982 from
Mid-State Technical Institute- Wisconsin Rapids. She is employed by Ken Noble
Accounting Service of Marshfield. Her Husband, a 1975 graduate of Neillsville
High School is employed at Nelson Muffler of Neillsville. The couple will make
their home in Granton.
