Top honors of the Ojibwa District of the Boy Scouts of America went to
Scoutmaster Jerry Zygowicz, Colby, when he received the District Award of Merit
at the Ojibwa District’s annual awards banquet held at the Knight of Columbus
Hall in Marshfield last Monday night.
The award was presented to Zygowicz by Dr. Raymond Hansen, council president, a
former Colby residend, and John Rice, District Chairman.
Zygowicz has been in scouting for 14 years, and scoutmaster of Colby Troop 683
for eight years.
