Behringer, Eunice Freida (Luebke) (12 Feb 1936 - 28 Dec 2007)

Eunice Freida Behringer, 71, of Oshkosh, passed away Friday, December 28, 2007, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, after a brief illness.

She was born Feb. 12, 1936, in Dale, Wis., the daughter of Frank and Minnie Stecker Luebke. Eunice attended Winneconne School. On Sept. 13, 1952, she married Jacob Behringer.

Eunice was employed for many years with JCPenney in Oshkosh and later at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh. She enjoyed reading, fishing, traveling, country music, walks with her husband and time with her children and grandchildren. Eunice professed her faith in Jesus Christ her Savior and attended Zion Lutheran Church in Oshkosh.

Eunice is survived and will be missed by her husband of 55 years, Jacob Behringer of Oshkosh; two sons, Randy (Deb) Behringer of Wautoma and Bill Behringer of Oshkosh, two daughters, Cindy Behringer of Martha's vineyard, Mass, and Connie (Wally) Shaffer of Fond du Lac. She is further survived by her brother, Orville (Jean) Luebke of Winneconne, grandchildren, Arika Shaffer, Travis Morgan, Joey Shaffer, Jessica (Eric) Hanrahan, Marshall Behringer, Jacob Behringer and Tracy Falk.

Preceding Eunice in death were her parents, one son, Ken Behringer, and brothers, Henry, Harold Frank and Walter Luebke.

Visitation: Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008 at Mueller Funeral Home, Winneconne.

Services: A funeral service for Eunice will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 2, at Mueller Funeral Home, with Pastor Greg Sluke officiating. Cremation will follow and interment will be held at the Plummer Cemetery in the town of Oshkosh.

Mueller Funeral Home of Winneconne is serving the family.
