Andruszkiewicz, Lorraine J. (18 Mar 1934 - 29 Dec 2022)

Lorraine Jessie (Dahm) Andruszkiewicz, 88, of Thorp, | WI passed away peacefully on December 29, 2022, Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, WI, with her family by her side.

Lorraine was born on March 18, 1934, in Thorp, WI to Walter and Bernice (Hoffman) Dahm.  She grew up in the Thorp area and graduated from Thorp High School.  On September 11, 1954, she married Leon Andruszkiewicz.  They lived in the Lublin area to raise their family.

Throughout her life, she was a factory worker, housewife, farmer, restaurant co-manager and medical transport driver.

She enjoyed sewing, baking, playing cards, bowling and fishing. Her and Leon also enjoyed taking their family on trips over the years and loved spending winters in Florida in their later years.

Lorraine was a very loving and caring wife and mother and was always there for her family. She had spunk and sass but that is a big part of what we all loved about her. She was always happy to see her family and friends and she greeted everyone with a big smile. She often expressed herself with a cute little dance that we all just loved and will never forget. She was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be deeply missed.

Lorraine is survived by one son, Donald Andruszkiewicz of Paisley, FL; four daughters: Donna Andruszkiewicz of Thorp, WI, Diane Gurklis (Joe Brost) of Thorp, WI, Debbie (Steve) Grover of Clearwater, FL and Darla (Dennis "Chopper") Anderson of Eau Claire, WI; Donald's children: Laura, Alexis, Donnie and Crystal; Diane's children: Jackie, Jamie and Scott; Darla's children: Nick, Cody and Shawna; one brother, Jim (Linda) Dahm of Stanley, WI; one sister, Donna (Bob) Alger of Thorp, WI. Lorraine is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Andruszkiewicz; her parents, Walter and Bernice Dahm; brothers: Alfred Dahm and Donald (Pete) Dahm.

Services will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 201 E. Rusch Street, Thorp, WI on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour before the service. A Celebration of Life will be held in the church fellowship hall following the service.
