Lloyd F. Scidmore, Colby, Wisconsin has been promoted to Chief Petty Officer
USNR. Chief Scidmore is a veteran of 20 years in the USN and Naval Air Reserve,
and is currently a member of the Fleet Tactical Support Squadron Fifty-One,
Naval Air Station, Glenview, Illinois. Chief Scidmore is a Line Chief and also a
Flight Engineer on the Squadron’s C-118 Aircraft. VR 51 support Naval units
throughout the United States and deploys regularly to Europe to support Naval
activities there also. Scidmore is also manager of Scidmore Fur Farms and Mayor
of the City of Colby.
