On Thursday, January 22, 1976, 28 friends gathered at the Colonial Nursing Home, Colby, in honor of Tillie Burnett for her 88th birthday. Those attending from the area were: Mrs. Henry Hillson, and Rosie Spieldburg, Spencer; Gustie Miller, Edna Francen, Mrs. Walter Fischer, Mrs. Walter Seefeld, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Djerf, Mayme Yahr, Mr. and Mrs. George Stillman, Mrs. Ed Melander and many residents from the home also attended the birthday party. A potluck lunch was served.
