Merwin, Anna L. (6 Jan 1885 – 28 Jan 1976)

Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 3, 1976 at First Presbyterian Church, Abbotsford, for Mrs. Anna L. Merwin, age 91.

The Rev. Robert Swalve officiated at the 1 p.m. services. Burial rites were held at the Abbotsford Public Cemetery.

Mrs. Merwin died Saturday, January 31 at the Clark County Health Care Center, Owen.

The former Anna Prosser was born January 6, 1885 in the Town of Frankfort in Marathon County.

She married Ben Merwin January 15, 1908. He survives.

She and her husband farmed in the Town of Holton until 1944, when they moved to Abbotsford.

Mrs. Merwin was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and its Ladies Aide Society.

Beside her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Hazel) Remmel, Kewaskum; two sons, Harold, Abbotsford, and Arvin, Kewaskum; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
