Wyatt Karl-Granton Wrestler Heads to State (2023)
The Granton School District wrestling team completed a successful week of competition. The team traveled to Cadott Jan. 5, and Wyatt Karl, a sophomore at Granton, won 1-and-1 with a win against Spencer and a loss to Cadott. Jan. 7, Granton’s team traveled to Wausau East for the JV State Challenge tournament, where Karl won the 195-pound weight class with three wins, all by pins. Karl qualified for the State JV tournament Jan. 21 in Wausau.
