Murphy, George A. (? - 1982)
George A. Murphy, 34, of Syracuse, New York, who is a brother of a Neillsville
woman, was killed in a head-on collision in New York State.
Surviving Murphy from Syracuse are his wife, Dora; two daughters, Joann and
Kelly; a son, Patrick; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Murphy. Joining them
are three sisters, Joan Fennessy of Neillsville, Deloris Kellogg of
Jacksonville, Florida, and Carol Jean Fish of San Diego, California; and several
aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Murphy was killed and two others injured in a vehicle accident as a heavy
thunderstorm rolled through the New York countryside—a storm that produced
60-mile-per-hour winds.
