Patricia Ann Klieforth and Gary Schauer were united in marriage Saturday,
September 25, 1976, during a 3 p.m. ceremony performed by the Rev. Kenneth
Loehrke at Christ Lutheran Church, Abbotsford.
Bev Schmidt was soloist and Jane Polnaszek was organist.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Irve Klieforth and Mr. and Mrs. Donald
Schauer, all of Abbotsford.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a sheer organza gown with long
fitted sleeves and flounce cuffs. The full skirt was styled with an apron effect
flounce and featured a chapel train. Her veil and headpiece were trimmed with
lace and flower appliqués. She carried a colonial bouquet with blue and white
daisies, stephanotis and baby’s breath.
Nancy Schauer, Abbotsford, was maid of honor. Dianne Magnuson, Oshkosh, was the
bridal attendant.
They wore powder blue voile dresses with a lace midriff. They carried baskets of
blue and white daisies and baby’s breath.
Randy Klieforth, Abbotsford, was best man for the bridegroom. Burt Schauer,
Stevens Point, was groomsman.
Bruce Klieforth and Joel Schauer were ushers.
A reception, dinner and dance followed at the Trianon Ballroom.
The couple both graduated from Abbotsford High School in 1974.
The bride is employed at Liberia Manufacturing, Abbotsford, and the bridegroom
is employed at Abbotsford Oil Company.
After a honeymoon in northern Wisconsin, the couple will live in Abbotsford.
