Mr. and Mrs. Leo Poehnelt, Abbotsford, announce the engagement of their daughter, Cheryl Ann, West Allis, to Garrett J. O’Reilly, Milwaukee. He is the son of Mrs. Margaret A. O’Reilly and the late John O’Reilly, Tullamore, Ireland.

Miss Poehnelt graduated from Abbotsford High School and attended UW-Marshfield. She is an accounting supervisor for Hoffman, York, Baker, and Johnson, Milwaukee.

Her fiancé is a graduate of St. Camillus High School and Angelicum University. He is employed as supervisor of the payroll Department of First Wisconsin National Bank, Milwaukee.

An April 23, 1977 wedding is being planned.
