Huth, Dawn Marie (21 August 1982)

Dawn Marie Huth, daughter of Gene Huth, Rt. 2 Granton, and the late Edna Huth, and James Richard Kuehl, son of Mr. and Mrs. James R. Kuehl, 612 Ayers St., Neillsville, were united in marriage Saturday afternoon, August 21, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Town of Sherwood. The Rev. E.T. Keller officiated.

Special music was provided at the service by Gigi Plautz, organist and Lana Elmhorst, soloist.

The bride chose a semi-sheer floor-length nylon knit gown, featuring a sheer front and back neckline with a Victorian collar, a V-shaped Venetian lace overlay bodice and sheer long full sleeves accented by Pearl buttons. Her veil was fingertip-length, and she carried a bouquet of blue-tipped white roses, stephanotis and baby’s breath.

Pam Friemoth, sister of the bride from Granton, was matron of honor. She was joined by bridesmaids, Gail Huth, Granton, cousin of the bride; Corrine Troedel, West Bend, cousin of the groom; and Cyndi Kuehl, Neillsville, sister of the groom.

Her attendants wore delft blue polyester knit gowns featuring an attached semi-sheer bloused overlay bodice in a ribbon shadow stripe with V-shape front and back neckline, dainty bows and slit flutter sleeves, flare skirt and cord sash. They caried a single long-stemmed, blue-tipped white rose with baby’s breath and adorned with white streamers. A single rose with baby’s breath was worn in their hair.

Best man was Tony Shaw, Neillsville, a friend of the groom. Joining him were groomsmen Lon Knoll, Greenwood, a friend of the groom; Duane Huth, Abbottsford, a cousin of the bride; and Dennis Huth, Granton, a cousin of the bride. Ushers were Monty Kuechenmeister, Neillsville, a friend of the groom, and Kevin Winkler, Granton, a friend of the bride. The groom was attired in a white tuxedo and his attendants wore light blue tuxedos.

A reception, dinner and dance followed the ceremony and was held at the Granton Sportsman’s Club.
Prenuptial events included a miscellaneous shower with the bridesmaids as hostesses.

The bride is a 1981 graduate of Neillsville High School. The groom is also a 1981 graduate of Neillsville High School and is presently serving with the U.S. Air Force as a Weapons Control System Analyst. He is stationed at Ramstein Air Force Base, Kaiserslautern, West Germany. The new Mr. and Mrs. Kuehl plan a wedding trip to Paris, France, after their return to Germany.
