Johnson, Ole (14 April 1896 – 7 September 1982)

Graveside services were held at the Neillsville City Cemetery on Thursday morning, September 9, for Ole Johnson, 86, of 215 East Sixth St., Neillsville. Johnson passed away on Tuesday, September 7, in Neillsville Memorial Hospital. The Rev. Paul Forde of Calvary Lutheran Church officiated. The Gesche Funeral Home of Neillsville was in charge of arrangements.

The deceased was born on April 14, 1896, in Neillsville to Ole and Ingeborg (Amundson) Johnson. He received his education in the city, graduating from Neillsville High School in 1915. He then worked for the Neillsville Bank for twelve years before moving to California where he worked for a chemical company. He retired in 1966 and moved back to Neillsville two years later to live with his sisters.

Surviving him is a sister Aletta (Lettie) Johnson, Neillsville. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
