October 30, 1976 was the wedding day for Mr. and Mrs. Gerald J. Pecher, who were
married at 7 p.m. by the Rev. Fred Sauder in Epiphany Lutheran Church in Eau
Claire. Mrs. Starr Felton provided nuptial music.
The former Nancy Joan Hehl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hehl, Eau Claire,
exchanged marriage promises with the son of Mr. and Mrs. William P. Pecher of
Abbotsford.
Sole attendants for the nuptial were Mrs. Norma Schramm of West St. Paul,
Minnesota, matron of honor, and Bryan McNeely of Marshfield, best man.
Escorting the wedding guests to their places in church were Greg Mertens of West
Allis and Terry Woodbeck, Fall Creek.
The reception was held in the church all-purpose room and the dance followed at
the Hotel Hilton Civic Center. Following a wedding trip out west, the Pechers
will reside on Route 3, Marshfield.
The bride is a 1968 graduate of Memorial High School, Eau Claire, and a 1972
graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. She has been a teller at
First Federal Savings and Loan, Eau Claire.
Pecher, a 1964 graduate of Dor-Abby High School, Abbotsford, and a 1969 graduate
of the Eau Claire University, is the publisher of Agri-View, headquartered in
Marshfield.
