Jason Anton, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Writz, Athens, was baptized
Sunday, November 7, 1976 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Dorchester by the Rev.
Roland Golz. Larry and LuAnn Degenhardt, uncle and aunt, were sponsors.
The baby was born October 24, 1976. Mrs. Writz is the former Lorna Degenhardt of
Dorchester. Mrs. Joyce Degenhardt, grandmother, entertained at dinner for the
occasion. Guests included the parents from Athens; the great-grandparents, Mr.
and Mrs. Oscar Erdman and a great aunt, Pearl Erdman, Colby; an aunt, Mrs.
Alfred Neuman and daughter, Medford; the Rev. and Mrs. Golz, and Mr. and Mrs.
Richard Brandl and family.
The birthday of Lori Degenhardt was also observed that day.
