Miss Kathryn G. Mueller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Mueller, Athens, and
Scott J. Trimner, son of Mrs. Harold Trimner, Abbotsford, and the late Mr.
Trimner, were married October 1 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Athens.
The Rev. Victor P. Dorn, the pastor, and the Rev. David Seip of Bloomington,
Illinois, officiated while music was provided by Mark Schroeder, organist; Pete
Tewes, trumpeter; and Scott Gatzke, guitarist/vocalist.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white satin gown and hat with
fingertip veil. She carried an arrangements of orchids, white roses and ivy.
Miss Jenny Czech of Athens was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Lori
Ellenbecker of Athens, Miss Pam Brown of Madison, Mrs. Jean Thurs, Athens, and
Heidi Trimner, Cottage Grove. They had huckleberry jacket formals and bouquets
of white pompons, purple statice and baby's breath.
Bradley Trimner of Medford was best man. Groomsmen were Ed Mohns, Steve Trimner
and Mark Rueden, all of Abbotsford, and Tom Mueller, Athens, and ushering were
Ron Mueller, Lancaster, and Todd Schmalfeldt, Burlington.
The reception, dinner and dance were at Schmidt's Ballroom, Wausau. Following a
wedding trip to Lake Tahoe, Nevada, their address will be Platteville.
The bride graduated in 1978 from Athens High School and from the University of
Wisconsin-Madison as an occupational therapist. She works in that capacity in
Platteville. Her husband, a 1974 Abbotsford High School graduate, attended the
UW-River Falls, graduating as an agri-business major. He is working for Lang
Exploratory Well Drilling of Wausau.
