Miss Roxanne Kay Schultze, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Schultz of Stanley,
and David James Baehr, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Baehr, Withee, were married
September 17 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Thorp. the Rev. John W. Puerner
officiating at the nuptials.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was attended by Miss Kim
Swope of Stanley as maid of honor and Sally Mohr of Stanley, Julie Flaaten of
Greenwood and Evie Baehr, Thorp, as bridesmaids. Peter Baehr of Fond du Lac was
best man. Groomsmen were Calvin Baehr of Hillside, Illinois, Bryan Rossman of
Thorp and Terry Cotts, Pewaukee, and ushering were Rendi Schultze and John
Manier, both of Stanley.
A supper and reception were at Quonset Hall.
The bride attended Stanley High School and District 1 Technical Institute-Eau
Claire. The bridegroom received his education at Thorp High School, the
University of Wisconsin-River Falls and the technical institute at Eau Claire.
He farms. The couple lives on Route 1, Withee.
