Bennett, Bradley (1 November 1923 - 21 October 1983)
NEILLSVILLE - Services were Sunday evening at Port Edwards United Methodist
Church, Wisconsin Rapids, for Bradley Bennett, 59, of 5932 Highway 54 W., Town
of Cranmoor, Wisconsin Rapids, who died Friday evening at his home following a
short illness.
The Rev. Kenneth Boetcher officiated and burial was made in Forest Hill
Cemetery, Monday.
Mr. Bennett was born November 1, 1923 in Neillsville to Mr. and Mrs. Ermon
(Edna)Bennett. He and Elva Schaefer were married February 20, 1954 in
Neillsville.
He was manager of the Bennett Cranberry Co. from 1949-1961 and was active in
cranberry organizations. A World War II Army Air Force veteran. He served as a
school board member for the Town of Cranmoor and was active at Port Edwards
United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife; his mother in Nekoosa; two daughters, Kay of Seattle and
Jean of St. Louis; a son, Ruddell of Oshkosh; a brother, Irving of the Town of
Cranmoor and two sisters, Joyce of Excelsior, Minnesota and Celia of
Grangeville, Idaho. He was predeceased by his father.
